invisibleman18 don't agree with that. That's the keeper's to catch all day long. Catch it, go down and take up more time then hoof it up to their end to release the pressure, not head to the edge of the box where they have attackers waiting. There was a communication fail, maybe neither called for it but that's the keepers ball.
If he called for it then Gabriel should definitely have left it and it's on Gabriel. If not then its on Raya. And whilst true that should have been an easy catch for Raya, it would have been an easy headed clearance by Gabriel.
A defender can't see behind himself so all he's trying to do is head it clear. The keeper can see everything ahead of him so either he should call "mine" and collect or leave it to the defender to clear. There wasn't any attacker near Gabriel. Instead the Raya jumped over Gabriel and put him under pressure which resulted in a weak headed clearance. Raya may have even got a hand to the ball but the result was two players going for the same ball, and in those situations the blame lies with the person who can see the other person because he is behind. Same with two players of the same team challenging for the same header.
