They're fine. Both are top top players. Anyone who knows anything about football (so not Souness then) recognises it.
The issue was wide creativity and more specifically the absence of Saka. Nothing you can do about that really because the alternatives that were left at home (Foden, Palmer, etc) 1) don't play the same position, and 2) aren't anywhere near his league. And they're barely playing the same sport as Bellingham.
Morgan was used on the right in the last game and was actually decent but he's a tier below Saka and it showed. Tuchel could have tried for Eze on the left instead maybe but it probably wouldn't have changed anything. Any team would struggle with missing a player of Saka's calibre. It's the sort of margin that decides whether you get knocked out by the reigning world champions in a semi-final or not.
