Also he counts as a homegrown player as well which helps free up other slots in our squad for foreign players.

I do like the look of him.. How good is he defending one on one situation? That would be my man concern regarding playing as the inverted right back.. Would be great if he can as I think that really is a priority position for us now.. someone who can invert into a really solid DM to free up the attack.

If that role isn't suited to him/doesn't want to play it then I'm not sure if he would want to come here.... Looks like he left City for game time... how much would he get here with DR coming in and owning that position long term? + Partey and Jorginho for next few years

Lavia is a bit Camavingary. Has that bouncy energy. Only 19 and knows how to use his body to receive the ball and turn out of situations in an elite way.

His potential is higher than Caicedo who despite being and excellent ball winning player is fairly basic with his progressive play.

yeah because he only sees him as a xhaka replacement (never happening because he doesn't have the required attacking 1/3 skills) and it never dawned on him that he would be coming here to be partey's eventual replacement.
