JazzG I was someone worried about Jesus but one of my main concerns was I didn't think he was a goal scorer based on what he'd done elsewhere so as our striker I found it might not give us that. I don't think that has gone even though he has many other good attributes.
The fact a lot of people keep pointing back to what he previously was judged as despite the more recent evidence I think would be a very risky approach. It could be that it's all the other circumstances that meant he hasn't performed or it could be as happens in football he actually won't realise that potential. If you discount recent evidence and sign him and it doesn't work out your don't get the benefit of the doubt as you would have had enough red flags.
He just never looked that impressive to me so unless he's costing us £25m then put the money elsewhere.
