Just not playing well enough to get the win in this one in my opinion, against a not great city at home they put 3 past us and we are in a worse place as a team. I think we'll concede 3-4 at least. Depends how much they want to put us down.

If we play our own game with confidence, then of course we can beat them. On our day we are among the best 4-5 sides in Europe. I just think confidence is shattered, and too many players react negatively to pressure.

Qwiss That's what I'm clinging on to too. Pretty much every man and their dog has City to win this one, perhaps they will feel the pressure a little and we will be free of it for the first time in a while. Looking at the players last night when the final whistle went though, it looked like they knew it had gone and I think more likely we go in to this game completely dejected.

It's absolutely vital we don't concede first and early though. If that happens I feel it could get very messy.

A very lively, encouraging first 10-15 minutes with 2 or 3 very good chances created, then a goal from City on the counter and then from there... Eurgh. That's my prediction.

I've already said it but to come away with a win from City at their ground, with these stakes, would take such an incredible, well-organised performance, probably with some good fortune thrown in.... But watching us in the last 3.. I just cannot see it.

someone else mentioned that Jesus and Zinchenko don’t deal well mentally with returning to Etihad, and I think it’s going to come to pass on Wednesday. Looked like Zinchenko’s histrionics were wearing thin for the team yesterday, and he’s been more at fault than most in his last games. It’s all set up nicely for a colossal capitulation, but in the end, those guys played huge roles in getting us here, so they’ve earned the right to go down swinging.

Burnwinter It's not that unrealistic, they beat us 3-1 at home back when they were supposedly shit and we were great. Now our confidence is shot and they are flying. It will be a miracle if we get anything here.

Yeah that was annoying. We dropped points, they should be disappointed, but dropping to the floor as if you lost the Cup Final is OTT. There's still only a point in it if City win their games in hand. And with us to play each other next it's still in our hands. Don't need any defeatism at this stage. Refocus and go again.

At least they're a team. Squad and manager go through these experiences as a unit. Arteta was one hundred per cent backing the squad and players after the draw and dropped points. The problem with Gallas wasn't that he was upset—it was that he was off throwing a tantrum by himself. The others despised him for it. Barring a bit Xhaka and maybe a tiny bit Zinchenko that mentality isn't with us this season.

The players are not stupid. They know deep down that last night was the final straw.

Man City will win every game until they win the title (Chelsea at home).
