Think it was @lorddulaarsenal who has mentioned him before, and I'm in agreement that he would be an excellent fit that in the Xhaka position. He'd demand big wages of course, and I'm sure some would see it as needless when ESR is of a similar style of player, but Mount's strongest in those wide 8 positions and creating overloads. Not surprised to see we have an interest anyway.
Controversial opinion but I will take him over Rice for the 8 position.
Yep I think he’s a good fit for the role Xhaka plays. Receives the ball well in tight spaces, is able to twist and turn, and has decent end product.
I’d see Rice as more of a Partey alternative or should he play alongside Partey, we’d set the team up differently
mount is decent, just a bit bland. I'm in first world problem mode, where I want us to get quality players that I actually want to watch every week

If Mount has any sense, he'll go to Liverpool. They'd be a great match.
He'd be great in the Xhaka spot. He's got way more vision than Xhaka and I like the way he finds space between the lines. He'd instantly upgrade our attack and he'd make it harder for teams to overload defenders on Saka and Odegaards side.
Qwiss he’s also be an alternative to Odegaard so if/when he’s out we’re covered
lorddulaarsenal yeah true too. He's also really good at crossing which if you look at our build up play we do a lot. He could definitely thrive here. It'll be very interesting to see where he ends up. I've a feeling Chelsea will end up offering him a whopper, shorter contract though and he'll stay. If not he could go to any of our rivals.

Do not want. We have Ode/ESR/Reiss in attacking roles and I rather have someone more physically dominant for midfield
Replace Vieira with him.
Replacing Xhaka and Lokonga with Mount and Rice would be a big step in giving us the sort of depth we need for competing in both the league and CL next season imo
