Kel Varnsen There’s absolutely a place for killing the game for five minutes and taking the momentum away from West Ham, refocusing, gaining a bit of confidence and then looking to play our game. We should be able to do that, and when done effectively it should almost be unnoticeable. It needs the likes of Partey or Odegaard to exert a bit of influence and know when to push things and when to retain the ball and keep things ticking over. There’s absolutely no benefit to us at the moment in trying to be gung-ho when West Ham are confident and bursting with adrenaline.
