naz — ESR had plenty of chances last year, and showed his class. I think he’s a great player too though I worry he’s not a clean (natural) for the requirements of our wide forward role or as an 8 i’m this system.

Are you concerned that ESR didn’t get an appearance today? He’s just back from injury and looked very rigid vs Sporting, so his body/fitness is clearly not there.

Qwiss he’s looked completely unfit both times he’s played. We have enough depth that there’s no need to rush him.

I thought we were sensational today. As my uncle just said to me, we nearly scored a goal of the season contender 4 times (the move that led to Martinelli's blocked shot in the second half was outrageous). Fulham lucky to get nil. Sets up the opportunity to open up an 8 point gap next weekend, which going into April, would be some statement of intent.

Awful few weeks for Eddie. Some below par performances, injury, Tross and Martineeli playing well up top and now Jesus is back.

I have to say, I think this summer might be a good time to cash in on him. He’s a good pure striker but his combination play is nowhere near .

Clrnc agreed, literally just having the same conversation with my cousins. He's done well over the last year, but our football has been so much better with Trossard and/or Martinelli leading the line.

It would be madness to sell Balogun imo.
