Maybe Trossard starts if he's trained but just having Jesus on the bench where he comes on or not will be a massive boost.

Will be a tough game but having watched them against Brentford on Monday I'm not that worried. I think they're starting to run out of steam. Apparently have the worst xGA in the league too which is surprising.

This will be another tough match, they'll be without Palhinha but still they are a very tricky team to play against. Very well coached as well so need to really be on our game.

Manor Solomon vs Ben White will be interesting. He’s on a great goal scoring run and we’ll need coverage from Saliba/Partey so he can’t easily cut in.

Would love to see Xhaka re-assert himself. Earlier this season I called out Perreira as a potential backup #8 for us, so this would be a game for Xhaka to demonstrate his ceiling.

Worried about this 1. Think it may be a game too far and I'd be surprised if we win 😔.

Arteta said in his press conference that Nketiah, Trossard and Jesus unavailable but if we have the 2 of them I'd feel a lot better.

Panda Yeah, I'm with you on this one. Our attack feels a bit threadbare at the moment and our lack of control offensively is putting more pressure on our defence (perfect for a scrapper like Mitrovic).

Despite the wins, we don't look back to our confident best (not surprising given the absences).

I'd be inclined to start this front three for the match today:

Saka-ESR-Nelson

I'm not yet convinced with Martinelli up top (particularly if the opposition are set up quite deep). Then, if that doesn't work (or ESR gets tired) we can sub on Martinelli and Trossard.

I imagine Lego Man goes with Vieira, Martinelli, Saka in front of the standard team. Tosser would be great though

Btw, been really impressed with Martineli as central striker. Man plays the role so well. He drops deep to link play, bringing the AMs up the field. And he goes wide, creating pockets for there to fill. Plus he goes full throttle all game. It’s incredible to think he’s only 21. You see him constantly adding pieces to his game and can only be excited by the ceiling.
