QuincyAbeyie I never thought Marti was quite as bad as others. Even off form he always poses a threat. Xhaka and Odes form have been worse IMO. I think Martis pace scares teams too.

This might be the wake up call to spark Martinelli back into life. Realising there’s competition for his place, and getting him back to productive ways is a massive boost in our current slump.

mohan Trossard in for Xhaka is too attacking IMO. I think Partey in that role would be interesting, he can provide the leg around Jorginho and also help us get the ball up the pitch either through his passing or dribbling

Qwiss Yeah I mean ... options? Experiments? Partey's injury helps in a certain way (even while it hinders) because at least it changes how we have to play, and Arteta's tactical paralysis has been a problem.

That was a ripping game of football, so glad we came out of it with the win, the karma police coming for Emi Martinez in a big way and a huge second half performance. Good to remind everyone how fucking good we are - and we are very good.

Not a fan of this.. think his form in general only started to pick up after Arteta switch his and Xhakas roles a year ago.. yeah the setup is a bit different now but same principles for me.. I like Partey but he is much more suited to the 6 role at the top level. His awareness and ability to play with his back to goal among other things are just not there for me.

Much prefer Trossard if we experimenting
