Need a strong response after the result against Everton.

I would rest quite a few for City, and drop White for being in poor form. I know there are no easy games, but being at home we should have enough even with a few changes.

Think Arteta will play the usual first team so that they don’t feel they’re being punished for the result (they need love and all). We absolutely need to win too. Think maybe we see Tomi as Whites poor run has been a bit longer, but I don’t imagine we’ll see the Tross. I’d be surprised.

Changing both full backs would be disastrous.

Amazing result from Spurs keeps the gap in tact and almost makes yesterday's result more frustrating thinking what the situation could have been with a game in hand. Need a strong response against Brentford so we don't go into the City game with 3 losses in a row or 3 without a win. Would start Tomiyasu and Trossard with White and Martinelli looking like needing a break.

A load of our players had rest for Everton and it didn’t quite work out, did it? And I don’t think it ever does. Sharpness comes from playing games.

Only players I would change is Tomi for White who I think is looking off, and maybe Trossard for Gabi.

I agree with the line-up. Tomi has to come in, White needs a rest, he has been bad for 3-4 games now. Martinelli has been in a funk for longer then that so Trossard should play there, sub Martinelli in later in the game. We got lucky this weekend but we must win this one, win this and the City game and ... my god we will be in it.

I think the players and fans didn't take the Everton game as seriously as they should. No easy games in this league.

Brentford are the most inform team in the league over the last 5 games, this will be a massive test for us. Not just physically but mentally after the Everton game. Need a big performance, need our players to be up for this one.

Hoping for a big response from Odegaard, who was really poor vs Everton. As were Xhaka and Zinchenko.

Three 'captains' and glue-guys for the team. Unlucky to have them all have a below-par game at the same time.

If those three improve their performances, our chances of winning this go up massively.

Brentford is a good side, but we'll bounce back. A better pitch will also benefit us. The pitch at Goodison looked poor.

I wouldn't want to see more than 2 changes max. Tomi should probably play ahead of White and I wouldn't be upset with Marty getting a rest but no more than that. I'm not ready for Jorginho to start either, he doesn't look like he's bedded in yet against Everton. Needs more time to learn that role before he can start league games.

Agree with those calling for Tomi to start this one. White needs a rest and Tomi also deserves to get more time. I definitely wouldn't change too much more other than that- maybe Trossard for Martinelli as well. Really hope the squad comes out hungry - Brentford are in great form at the moment and even though its at the Emirates, I think its going to be tough to get a result. They still haven't lost a PL game since returning from the World Cup (4-2-0) and I believe they have the most points per game of any PL team since the break.
