Gurgen it’s sad to watch. But it happens. Dembele lost most of his career and he could be the most talented of his generation. We also just lost him, Kvara, Semenyo, Saka and Luis Diaz in one match week. Hard to come to any conclusions because some of these guys are famously coddled but it’s not good for the game if we can’t see the biggest names facing each other when we turn on the television.

We unfortunately need to be ruthless. Foden was the golden boy at city but fell off the boil and they brought players in to challenge him and not just back him up like what we did with Madueke.

What I'm saying is if an opportunity presents itself for a starting RW we should go for it and let Saka prove he's better.

Basically this guy should no longer be a default starter and we should be looking to bring in someone of starting-quality and let them fight it out.

Gurgen

We don’t need to bring anyone in, we just need to play Max instead of Madueke

Gurgen

Nah, keep playing Madueke and give Dowman more minutes. You'll all be crying about Dowman being run into the ground soon enough if he becomes as good as he threatens to be.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert

Gurgen both. Madueke looks good on the left.

daredevil the same way you must be horrified at Arteta rotating in the CL this season.

Yep - we're unlikely to ever get 8/8 again.

I've come to accept that Saka is injury prone. Isak level. We should expect this to be the norm, and insulate against it. The Club should begin succession planning now. Likely means a bit more game time for Dowman than we would ideally like - at least until January.
