Great news, it's been a tough period post his injuries and he hasn't quite been able to make that next step up that I was hoping he could get to based on potential and become that real talisman. Hopefully this season is still impacted from his post injury and he'll be able to make that contribution from next season onwards if he can avoid any further injury issues.

The fact he always speaks highly of the manager and willing to commit to a 4.5 year contract suggests otherwise

JazzG I don't think it's as binary as that, very few players are going to speak poorly of any current manager and signing a contract doesn't mean he has to stay for the duration.

awooga83 His previous contract expired in 2027, surely if he wasn't sure about the club or manager he would turn this down and every top club in the world would be fighting for his signature this summer. Clearly he believes in the club and the management to commit to another 4.5 years.

JazzG I don't think he needs to decide yet as with other players he can roll the dice and if in two years we've won nothing and assuming he continues to progress he'll be 26? Plenty of time to pick up trophies.

Sicario2 felt a bit of anger coming off him in the first half, I like when he plays with anger. I also think there might be mutual benefits from him spending time on the same pitch as Eze.
