I feel his shooting is off. Really need him to find his efficiency now. He is our best attacker and its coming up to the business end of the season. Time to produce.

Panda He is doing everything right but the final ball, feels like that applies to all of them in attack. But with him the standard is higher. He now has 12 games in a row with no goal with 9 of them coming in the league, that is not ok. And it's a worry since he ended the season on a insane 0 goals and 0 assists in his last 10 PL games. At least now he has managed a few assists, not enough assists either for someone like him, just 5.
In fact he started the season with 0 assists in his first 12.
His end product since coming back from injury is a worry, as if you add it all up he has played 30 PL games with 5 goals(2 of them from the spot) and 5 assists.

He just has to snap out of it and start producing, we need him, and it's not like his sub will ever be able to score a PL goal, he is all we have.

If Saka continues to play as he did last night over the next few months, it's going to be a very good end to the season. I thought he was brilliant - and relentless.

I get the frustration with Saka. I do however think that the way we attack is not built around strength of individual players. If Salah, Ronaldo, Messi ran up down the wing all game and hugged the touchline most of the time they were on the pitch I doubt they would be as prolific. Saka may not be at their level or close but he is a damn good player. We aren't maximizing his potential.

Rohit his job is to win corners and play as an auxiliary fullback so Timber can get into the box.

He’s constantly double or triple teamed. Yet when he releases the ball we have no central attack, and so it’s all a little pointless.

Someone like Ancelotti would find a way to get 20+ league goals out of this guy. I feel sorry for him (and all of our attacking players, to be honest). They will do nothing playing for Arteta.

Saka is the least of our problems. He was good today and we wouldn't have scored both goals of he wasn't on

tazmania yeah he's doing what he can to drag us through games all while getting kicked and manhandled with no protection from the refs.

It’s not a criticism of Saka to say we aren’t getting enough out of him. His culpability in lack of numbers is minimal.

We hoped signing these additional players would take the attacking burden off him but nothing has changed in that regard, we still rely mainly on him and teams know they need to shut him out and our attack is toothless.

I'm a little worried about Saka post the injury I don't think he's looked the same player I hope the surgery hasn't taken the edge off him as I was hoping he could step up and be the talisman player for the team but he looks a long way off at the moment. He's still are most dangerous forward but I believed he could be more then what he's doing at the moment.

He's not the same dynamic player from before but God damn he's efficient and effective at his job. His first touch is elite. He'll get back to scoring too. I'm not worried about him at all

I don't see a huge problem with Saka. He's going through a dry spell but he's still beating his man regularly and is usually the one dragging our attack through games.

Qwiss I don't mean that aspect really h he's our best attacker and still delivers a lot. I just thought he could become that elite tier player aka Salah etc getting 20-25 goals and right now he doesn't look like he will which is a little concerning and it makes me wonder has the injury inhibited his development at all and the player he is now.

Yeah it's strange, his play and form isn't really off, but there's just a lack of end product with it. I actually think he's looked a bit more direct in recent games than he has in a long time, but our set up isn't particularly helpful for any of the attackers.

There's a lot decreasing his impact in my opinion:

he and Timber don't have the relationship that Saka had/has with White
Odegaard in terrible form
no central CF to cross to
no central attacking threat

He's up against two defenders EVERY time he touches the ball. I'm not sure him playing higher up will even relieve that, because it will just lead to CBs coming over to help their FB as our opposition isn't worried about our CFs/central attacking play.

Until Odegaard and our CF figure their shit out, we'll not see Saka in great form, and that has less to do with Saka.

There's way too much being made of him having to face two defenders like as if other top players aren't double or triple teamed. Forget even top players, most players on the pitch have to navigate multiple players in close vicinity.
