Yes it's a throwaway line, because it's an obvious point. Maximising a team's ability to score in football is about getting the players who are best at scoring to shoot from positions that are the easiest to score from.
The positions that are the easiest to score from are central, near the opposition goal, and relatively undefended.
When a player's as good at scoring as Saka, opposing coaches order extra defensive attention. This naturally leaves a player who's less good at scoring, such as Declan Rice, in a position that isn't defended.

I've answered you at every turn in good faith and good humour. It does seem we keep getting crossed wires but also, you've now started to be hostile. I don't have a bone to pick with you and I don't think I'm arguing in an obtuse, glib or outstandingly patronising manner.
If you want I can pick through every paragraph in your posts and refute the points, positions and tones I disagree with one by one. This is the Saka thread, and for the reasons I've already mentioned, I think this line you have that Saka is not productive enough, and that Arteta's not doing enough to make him more productive, is very doubtful and becoming even more doubtful.
