Qwiss Wish we could sell him but this is why we need to be more careful on big wages for mediocre players.
That was a symptom of the state of us at the time. It shouldn’t be too much of an issue going forward now though. Our standards and quality are higher, so in turn we shouldn’t need to overpay to convince players to come here.
The bigger driver with wages going forward will be inflation within the squad with the various extensions we’ll need to work on year in year out.
