He absolutely isn't braindead. That's very harsh. I actually wasn't on board the Pepe train after watching videos of his highlights from France. He didn't seem a tight dribbler (lots of bounces off opposition players etc) and lots of goals he scored were either scuffed finishes or penalties. His dribbling never became something that could work for a team like ours that doesn't play on the break (I wasn't expecting it to tbh), but his finishing and final ball really surprised me. Guy had unbelievable whip on his shots and was bending them in like prime Bergkamp.
This will be surprising coming from me who wasn't even thay big on the transfer, but I think we could have used him better, either off the bench or just to give Saka a rest. But oh well, what's done is done, whish the guy all the best, he was never a problem player, never heard about him being disgruntled or talking to the media, and by all accounts was a very likeable person.
