He’s hard working, aware of what’s going on around him, has quick feet, a low centre of gravity with a burst, a good competitive attitude and has end product.

Love this signing. Good player who can rotate across the front three and provide good squad depth. Already used to the league. He won't really interfere with Marti and ESRs growth, he might even challenge them well. The fee is good too. Good short and long term. Win win win

Know next to nothing about Trossard. From the looks of it, definitely don't need to show him where the goal is, and he's faced nearly all this season's opposition defences already. Not something you could say about any other target. Beyond that, great to get an experienced warm body for cup fixtures.

Qwiss Its a move I don't think they'd have made if we weren't on course for the title.

Was a shame to miss out on Mudryk, but it's a bloody delight the club's both leading the league and seems to be very focused on winning it. Looks a better deal for us than a Félix loan too.

This is the kind of signing that might've won us the league in 07–08 (we brought in no one) or 15–16 (we brought in Elneny and got Gnabry and Jenks back from loan).

One other thing: sign a guy from Genk via Brighton and even if he's a bit full of himself, he's overjoyed to be at Arsenal. We'll be his biggest club by miles and his one chance at silverware.

Contract only runs through 2026, not 2027 as most had previously reported.

That sounds just about perfect in my opinion. Can sell him in 2025 or let him run down his contract as the transfer fee and wages are reasonable.

He's just turned 28. Reckon he could do a filler job for a couple of years and even at 30 we can still get a good fee back for him.

Good signing at a good price. His versatility helps provide good depth in the attacking areas too which we have sorely been lacking since Jesus got injured.

Still want my shiny new Martinelli/Saka alternative in the summer but don't know how likely that is now with this signing.
