There were definitely times in the first half when I was like “wow, that’s a bit risky”, but he would always emerge with the ball. He has an incredible confidence, and when he has the ball he drives with it to the Spurs players, draws them in and then dribbles or passes, effectively taking 1 or 2 men out of the play. Contrast with Elneny who never invites pressure and, therefore, will never strain the opposing defense. They can always keep him in front.
