Incredible own goal by the Wellington Phoenix keeper in the A League in the weekend:
He got subbed off at half time 4-0 down. Ended 5-0 and the manager resigned. As some sort of apology for the shambles the players have been handing out free tickets for this weekend at Wellington train station today. I work across the road so went down and grabbed a couple. Haven't actually been to a game for a year or so. Last time I did the same keeper passed the ball to the opposition striker inside the 6 yard box in the 86th minute when it was 0-0, then conceded a 2nd in injury time.
The most amusing part is the keeper came through the Spurs academy before ending up in NZ.
