Well, that is also incorrect. We didn't win either the CL or the Uefa Cup in 2021 so why would we even be in a European Super Cup to even be able to "lose" in that final? Unless you mean our loss in 94 Super Cup, because we certainly weren't in any Uefa Super Cups since then.

Also you're being very selective in exaggerating out "losing" record by adding in a loss which does not exist in a friendly competition (Uefa Super Cup) which we never participated in in 2021. At the same time you claim Chelsea have won their last 5 European "finals" yet ignore that they've lost 3 out of their 4 most recent Uefa Super Cup appearances (2012,2013,2019), so no, they haven't won their last 5 European finals. I'm certain they'd lose the upcoming one as well if they were even allowed to qualify 😂.

Yeah I can see how maybe it got confusing. Maybe should have put the years in. Thought doing it in order made it clear because for us it was the following

losses
Cup Winners Cup (95)
Uefa Cup (2000)
Champions League (2006)
Europa League (2019)

For Chelsea it would have been

CL (2012),
Uefa Cup (2013),
Europa League (2019),
Champions League (2021),
Europa Conference League lol (2025).

But yeah, aside from the ECL, they've done much better than us in Europe, no question about it. Doesn't mean we need to wank them off for winning a competition against a bunch of clubs no one has ever heard of.

Both those statements can not be true at the same time.

The former can only be true if it doesn't include European Super Cups in which case no, we did not lose 5 European finals in a row because the 5th one is the CWC we won in 94.
The latter may be true if you are including Super Cups, but it also makes the former false because Chelsea lost 3 our of their last 4 European Super Cup appearances.
