Gurgen -- 45 mins into the Madrid vs Leganes game with Guler starting on the right in a 4-4-2/4-3-3 hybrid. He's played offensively as the RWF (in a 4-3-3) but also deeper/narrower when defending, noticeably narrower/deeper than Saka for example
He's had two moments of class on ball - an early nutmeg when building from deep, and one mazy run into the box to fashion a nice shot. Clearly far more comfortable in attacking then defending/building up play.
Outside of that - he's been very reserved. His physicality and pace is noticeably lower than any other player out there (on both teams). Players easily stride away from him when he tries to defend. And his own players aren't looking for him much, he clearly doesn't have his teams confidence. To that last point, he looks low on confidence as he's spurned two good opportunities with awful execution.
Not seen much to suggest where he would even play here. Not a chance at Odegaard's position if he's fit, and I don't think he's coming here to sub in for Saka.
