Meatwad Came here today to mention him- he looks really good and can play on the left or centrally. I like his pace combined with his finishing on both feet. He's not super young but the perfect age for our project - 25 years old. He's listed at 22m euros on Transfermarkt, which I know isn't indicative of the real price but if we could get him for around 40m, I think that would be perfect depth/rotation in our frontline. Would love to see if he'd be available in January.
samthegooner to come sit on the bench?
samthegooner lol Transfermarkt heard you they've updated his value to 40m today.
He'd be wasted in the wing, he's fully accustomed to playing centrally at this point whether in a 442 or 343. Playing like a right footed Salah regen other than playing centrally, pace finishing dribbling sneaky strength he's a carbon copy, even the relatively advanced age at which their form exploded is the same.
So I've checked this fella out a bit more. He's very good. Only question is how his ability translates in a league with less space and time on the ball, but he looks to have an x factor about him. If we are looking to upgrade on both Jesus and Nketiah and perhaps even Martinelli, we should be looking at him.
flobaba I'm just wondering though, not a single frankfurt striker who did well there and got a move away that did well
All the Jovic, Kolo Muani, Andre Silva, Haller, Joselu all flopped after getting big money moves away
Clrnc fair point though, Frankfurt strikers tend to drop off elsewhere, Rebic did well outside of his injuries at Milan and Haller at Ajax for a minute but other than them pretty much everyone dropped off massively without Frankfurt support behind them.

Hasn’t he got a pre agreement with someone?
lorddulaarsenal not that I know of. He only just signed for Leipzig this summer though so will probably stay there a couple of years.
Can’t find a video, but Wirtz had a sexy assist against Bosnia. Showed incredible spatial awareness to run onto a lob, then basically control and back heel it in one motion for Undav to slot home.

lorddulaarsenal taking off after yesterday- too rash. Great at beating a man though
Nico Paz too
It may be my baby brain after having spent the last week with our second newborn but I’m really starting to settle on the feeling that if we want someone to take us to that next-level “inevitable” type of club, I think it has to be someone like Wirtz/Musiala/Kvara. Even if that means we only bring in a player or two next year. One of those guys plus Sesko and I trust Arteta to figure it all out. I still think we’d need another midfielder especially if Partey and Jorginho leave but I think Nwaneri can do the job in the attacking midfield roles and Lewis-Skelly can do it in a more defensive oriented role (in addition to our current options). Add one of those 3 and then Sesko and we are an absolute force going forward while maintaining our OOP dominance.

Congrats on the kiddo.
samthegooner Congrats Sam! Mildly hilarious and a testament to your fidelity that after assisting in the arrival of an entire new person, you're still fixated on the arrival of a new elite wide player at Arsenal. 😆 We approve.
samthegooner congratulations sir. 😊
samthegooner congratulations. How's the missus doing? Wishing you joy and Red Bull.
samthegooner congrats, sam. Keep them gooners coming.
