Having someone with Jorginho skillset in the 6 role is really useful.. it gives us the ability to control games when we aren't completely dominating. Maybe someone like Neves would be good buy

Rice. Haven't realized until recently just how good he is. Quality player. Exactly what we need in midfield.

Coming round to his potential to fill in as an 8 as well... especially with someone like Jorginho at the base

What I like about him is the intensity in his play in both directions. He will 100% make us harder to play against. Basically Xhaka on steroids.

Sicario2 - Tier 1

I really like him. A leader and looks very strong mentally. In the business end of seasons you need this kind of player in your team.

BBKG he’s the total package. Can handle business physically, has a determined and committed mindset, leadership qualities and is technically very good.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but imagine Rice receiving passes (between the lines) from Zinchenko and how much more he could do with it than Xhaka.

I'm convinced by Rice myself past few weeks. Will be a superb pickup.

Also he adds alot of character to the midfield solidity

And terrific awareness. Just a small example: at the end, Rashford made a short diagonal run in between the cb and rb. Rice immediately noticed it, reacted, and beat Rashford to the ball. Just superb defending.

Now’s the time to splash whilst our appeal is high and other clubs are still sorting issues

Bring in Rice, Caicedo (who can be used as a right back to free up White to play centreback if needed), Vlahovic or Tammy Abraham to give us a physical option up top. Diaby to deepen our attacking options ans to allow Saka a breather.

Sell Pepe, Tavares, Nketiah or Balogun, ESR, Lokonga and Holding to make raise funds to add to the transfer kitty

IN: Fresneda, Veiga, Rice, Ndicka, Diaby and (Balogun) Or Caicedo for (Fresneda + Ndicka like what Quince suggested), but 2 players could be cheaper

OUT: Pepe, Tavares, Nketiah, Lokonga, Holding, Xhaka (don't think he will accept a bench role)

If Kiwior keeps proving himself in the remaining games, I think we should forget about signing a CB and go put all that money towards Caicedo. The fact that he can play RB effectively gives us the option to put White at CB. Tomiyasu can also play both CB and RB at a very good level when fit. We're signing a lot of players who can play in various positions, and making use of that might be the only way to compete with City, since we can't have two XI's worth of 50m players like they do.

QuincyAbeyie Guessing it will depend on how well he performs till the end of season and if Saliba and Tomiyasu are fully available for preseason. I am guessing we will get atleast one back four player in, either a CB or a RB.

As much as I’ve hated Xhaka in the past my view of him has changed slightly and I would like him to stay. Think he’s good for the dressing room and he’s one of the few leaders we have.

I agree with the rest of your outs but hope we can keep Tierney too.

I would sell Partey if we get Rice/Caicedo.

Sicario2 - Tier 1 Agree on Xhaka. Wealth of PL experience and knowledge and leadership qualities to boot. Also multiple players have talked about his influence in the dressing room. Definitely should not sell.

Clrnc think he has a very good relationship with Arteta and may well accept a squad role.
