Burnwinter ASM plays for Newcastle now, his cheque is already dripping with blood. He's not going to be a top player in Europe, not like Bayern, City, Real, Barca, etc want him so going to Saudi probably isn't that difficult of a decision to make.

And I know some people don't like him but you've got to respect Auba for turning them down.

Really wish we were in for Diaby - I think he would be a great addition to our wingers and add searing pace and playmaking that we don't have a lot of with our current bench options. Personally, I would've rather prioritize that signing than Havertz but I trust in Arteta and will wait to pass judgment on Kai. I always felt that Diaby would go for more than the fees we have seen thrown around between Villa and the Saudis and I think he's a steal for anything less than 50/60m.

He doubled down a day later, as well, once again lamenting the idea of talking about Maximin in “the past tense”. He’s just moving to a different football club, Eddie, for your benefit. He’s not died. He’s not a dissenting journalist.

Pepe LeFrits Definitely. They rejected the big bid from Madrid and agreed new contract with him and gave him the player option to extend it for further year.

As that is what they negotiated, he is now entitled to let them know he doesn't want to stay the extra year and good on him. He's said he is staying for his final year, if he is performing in training, there is no reason not to play him and try and win the Champions League with him. Sick of the way clubs treat these players sometimes.

If I was a player I would for sure be maximising my earnings by running my contract down and agreeing free transfers. (Unless I was at Arsenal lol.)

I hope he refuses to join a club they agree a fee with too.
