Excellent opportunity for Gyokeres to build on carrying Arsenal to their first PL title in 22 years and take the next step in his career by playing for a club with proper European pedigree. You wouldn't expect a player like Gyokeres to stick around a small provincial club like Arsenal for too long. He's too much of a winner.

Meh, sporting ambition also plays a part. No serious player that has hopes of being taken AS a serious player would drop down from 12th to 17th, especially when other (better) teams would almost certainly be interested in signing him. (IMO)

I just dont see it happening. He would improve them, for sure, but not enough to make them push for the top 4 or 5.

I keep seeing links to Alex Scott as well, watched some clips and read up on him and have to say I like what I'm reading and seeing so far.

I think this Tonali move might be to get other clubs to hurry and make a move. It really depends on what Newcastle want, they have been putting out _£100m for him which is too much imo.
