As a fan on the other side of the world I like the display of all the foreign supporters clubs. Recognition that the fans are more than just those who are able to attend the stadium. I see the NZ supporters banner made it on too which is cool.

I like the idea of this, but it's kind of weird that they've run with these specific ones. You'd probably find better Arsenal artwork just looking through Instagram for half an hour.

Maybe it will look better in real life or it will grow on me. It like when you look at a kid's drawing and say it looks great, what you're really thinking is it looks shit.

Literally this. These murals are a bit amateurish, but they'll look okay from a distance and they respect the traditions.

But the "bulging shield" crest has looked dated since its inception, thing's been a blight for 20 years now, it's just so blatantly inferior to all the others we've had and has overpowering "90s Hyundai Excel" design vibes.

It's mainly number 4, 5 and 6 I have issues with. Sure, I could make number 1 and 2 in Photoshop in an hour or so, but at least they look clean enough.

But yeah, agree that those are the ones that look a bit off. Art style doesn't feel right for the imagery...too classical...?

goon I think that's it. I actually like all of it, but understand why they're not exactly blowing everyone away. But full judgement can only be made once you've seen them as intended, otherwise it's a bit like watching Top Gun Maverick on your phone and saying it looks rubbish.

I think it's because they were combined with the red emirates logo which camouflages into it as well.

I am not feeling number 2 as well, looks too contemporary and not well thought of.

Number 3 was really perfect

I like the arty ones much more than the text ones, they look terrible. Although the arty ones are pretty shoddy. Now I'm talking myself out of liking any of it. Definitely prefer the older art work. This stuff is tacky.

Funnily enough the reaction everywhere else seems to be overwhelmingly positive, so I guess they weren't designed with the grumpy OMITT contingency in mind.

Mind you I don't remember many liking the concrete blocks we were presented with when the stadium first opened. I have no idea what they were thinking with that.

Listening and reading more about the process they used to make all this, it changes my thinking on it a bit. I do like that we aren't going the futuristic design route, and I am impressed by the level of engagement they opened themselves up to. Much easier to simply get a consultant in.

Although it's not aesthetically perfect, I'm quite proud to be a gooner knowing what it represents, which isn't just what is depicted.

Coombs agree with this, especially when you hear the thinking behind it and what each one represents.

The ‘Welcome to North London’ banner being visible from the train into London for example. The men’s Invincibels and the women’s Quad winners, the two great sides being represented. The thinking behind the Opportunity banner.

Maybe the execution could have been better on some but I love the approach.

Looking forward to seeing how the fabric banners will look too. I reckon they’ll look amazing.

I don't want the futuristic route either, but if they're going to go the "I'm 15 and I know Photoshop" route I just wish they'd choosen better artists.
