Yeah, you're right that Hakimi worked out great for both, but he is a more special talent and plays a position that doesn't have as much competition.
Reiner barely played and he basically was 4th/5th choice with them (behind hazard, brandt, bellingham, reyna, reus etc.). I think both sides wanted to try to break the loan earlier too so it was wasted time.
Palmeiras sure got a lot of players teams want. Danilo is also with them, they might need a bigger offer to want to sell.
