But there should be limits, things that are so horrible that should under no circumstance be tolerated. And damn the way foreign workers are handled in Qatar is modern slavery. Slavery. S-l-a-v-e-r-y. The kind of thing we thought we have already overcame. Fuck shit we are in the XXI century, and I know that there are a lot of bad guys in the world (child workers by Zara, Apple contractors who have to install safety nets to prevent suicides by their workers, etc.) but this is on a different level. Maybe the only sensible and decent answer is to repudiate them and ruin their world cup.
(Btw I may also watch the world cup. In the end, as I stated, we all tend to choose not to see)
