That's a good way to put it and like I said above my perspective is i don't believe Arsenal are some beacon in the swell of clubs that are all focused on commercial interests as if we are just different because I don't believe we are.
The thing United are doing now I think run through all the clubs, what's best for us to be a successful sporting club any other things are pushed to the side. They don't care about social responsibility if it conflicts with their sporting interests. Much like England during the world cup or Henderson, everybody can talk a good game it's much harder to live those values when the cost is put on you.
So very much like you Burnwinter my view would be he's seen as a key player for the team and that's the driving force behind what Arsenal are doing or is their focus and they'd rather just ignore the rest if they can get away with it
