I’m sure you will agree that going for the title and actually winning it are not entirely the same?

Of course go for it but if (and most likely) we fall short, finishing 2nd and winning the EL would be an incredible season.

Looking at Europa Draw, there is no reason why we can’t win it.

Yeah, definitely need to give fringe players and some promising youngster a run-out although given the proximity to the mid-season break and the fact we've got strong opposition, I wonder if Arteta will risk 1st teamers...

On a side-point, anyone know what's happened to Nwaneri? Not heard anything about him since Brentford...wondering if it means we've not signed him up yet?

*He'll have 6 weeks off after this weekend, so I'd play him. I'd probably start Martinelli for the same reason but maybe better to have him on the bench.

**He needs match fitness with an eye on our trip to Wolves (who won't be pushovers). Additionally, I'd like to see him in the Partey role in a low priority competitive match, so this is the perfect opportunity. I think he could play that role, similar to how Lahm and Kimmich do/did for Bayern.

That midfield looks a bit unbalanced - would rather swap Marquinhos in for Vieira and push the latter into midfield.

Why not El Neny deep, Lokonga as our left-channel 8, and Zinchenko as our right-channel 8?

Lokonga is more often on the right, and Zinchenko the left (as a FB), even when a CM.

I'm pretty sure Zinchenko usually plays as an 8 whenever he's in midfield so that would make more sense.

Good thing I got tickets to the game I guess, can't deal with trying to find obscure streams. It seems like a weird decision to not sell the rights for every game in this competition.

I can understand them showing the City vs Chelsea game ahead of our. I can maybe even allow the likes of Forest vs Spurs, Wolves vs Leeds and Bournmouth vs Everton games as they are all PL teams. But how are they showing the Leicester City vs Newport or Watford vs Reading ahead of Arsenal vs Brighton? Like wtf?

i'm fine with them showing the likes of Newport or Watford. it's a little people's trophy. maybe we will see some magic.
i think the neutral would probably prefer Arsenal-Brighton over any of the other Premier League ties though

Yeah it'll be the Europa team. Nketiah, Nelson, Vieira, Lokonga, Elneny, Tierney, Holding, Gabriel, Turner and 2 from Cedric, Martinelli, Xhaka, White.
