Claude, that wasn't the case whilst Wenger was still here. And I mean their portfolio, not Arsenal. Apparently they were known for having all these teams with all of them being mid table mediocrity until around that period. Nowadays with their Super Bowl win and their Stanley Cup win they've been doing well but back then there were a lot of question marks about their lack of involvment/investment in their teams.
There were genuine concerns about their contentment in being in these closed leagues where minimum investment still made him huge returns. Something only possible in the PL if he kept us in and around the top 4 while tv revenues increased, which is what we did for ages. Maybe those wins with his other teams gave him a taste for winning (or it could be as a result og completing his takeover), who knows, but the Kroenke's are a lot more involved nowadays.
