We've won at the bridge three years in a row in the league. Doesn't feel that long ago when they were unbeatable at home.

Tactics

A lot of focus will undoubtedly be on Jesus not scoring again, and true as our CF, he should be scoring more, but he was crucial to the we played today. There are strikers who score loads of goals but are parasites to the team, he's the total opposite of that.

I wish Saka and Martinelli were 2 years older (more experienced), this team would have benefited more from Jesus' qualities.

I tell you what was most impressive about that game, it's that we didn't have to play at our very best to completely dominate them. Away from home. The biggest sign yet for me that we're the real deal.

Scary to think what we'll look like when our young forwards become more efficient.

I felt that too, so comfortable. But I also think it's a reflection on how bad Chelsea are. They are barely averaging more than a goal a game.

Was also super impressed with how we closed shop after we scored, especially the last 10 minutes. So professional and smart.

Xhaka had a big part to play in that too.

Thought we were immense today. Not in a spectacular way, but just solid. To go to Chelsea and strangle them like that was really impressive. Tet's built an incredibly solid back six there. Felt a bit for Bukayo that Gabriel nicked his goal, but probably best to make sure.

We simply strangled the game, midfield was fucking magnificent today. Night and day compared to the last decade.

Jesus put a gargantuan shift in.

Ben White was supreme, and the twin towers Saliba and Gabriel were simply dominant.

Statement win, absolutely bullied them on their own pitch.

Only one team was on the field. You can see why teams always try to kick Saka off the field. And Gabriel Magalahaes had another monster game. Such an underappreciated asset.

Always great to beat them. Recent wins against "big 6" teams were generally chaotic, frenetic and had elements of luck, but this was a really complete and professional performance. The better team in all areas, never gave them a sniff and the score probably flatters them if anything. Feels like another statement that we are actually a serious team this season. Have there been any criticisms for celebrating yet?
"Men against boys" as they used to say when we got battered by the big sides.
