Controlled the game, like 90% of the time but created nothing. Other then the goal, 0 dangerous chances for us. Nottingham created much more. We need one more to be safe here. I think all that press talk got into Jesus head, needs to calm down and the goals will come. We need more from Odegard.

Worrying stuff, game looks like it is following the same pattern as vs Leeds and Southampton. Hopefully us being at home will make a difference in the second half.

I cannot fathom putting on Nelson instead of Nketiah. Nelson has played the ball backwards nearly every time he has received it.

It says something about the season Xhaka is having that I was and still am a little worried about him going down like that. A year ago I wouldn't have given a shit. He's absolutely integral at the moment. If him and Saka were both out for a couple of games I think we'd really, really struggle.

Passing backwards, jogging about with no intensity, he just doesn't look like a guy who wants it. Take some responsibility to make things happen.

This has been okay. We have been in control. Forest has defended well. We lost some spark once Saka got injured. Expected. If we keep playing as we have, we should win out 1-0 or 2-0.

Tierney maybe from full back. I'd hope Arteta might take Nelson off around the 70 minute mark if he's still doing nothing. We have no driving power in midfield, especially not from the bench. You could swap Vieira for Odegaard maybe but that doesn't tend to change things much.

I thought he played some good passes forward. Generally he and Tomi have been ok. I thought Gabriel and Saliba were imperious until that pass from Saliba, that was a real shocker. Like something Mustafi would do.

Yep we were good when Saka was on and pre-injury but other than that we've been awfully loose with passing and our pressing has been ineffectual.

Lots of hesitation as well.

Same pattern, good 20 mins or so and then we seem to go into coasting mode. It's not been bad but once again passes are all a little too safe and we've also been turning the wrong way a bit too often. Saka going off is a blow, he was easily our biggest threat/outlet.

Need Jesus to hold it a bit more in central areas and someone needs to restart Odegaard at halftime and bring him out of safe mode.
