That was a bit of a disaster that. You could tell after the first 10 mins of mis controls and slips that it was going to be hella frustrating. Desperately need the home crowd to lift these lot on Sunday, can see they're finding it hard work at the moment.

Exactly, I think she performance level has been bad for the last 4 matches. We got away with one at Leeds but we are in a funk and the coaches/Arteta don't seem to have an idea how to shake the team out of it at the moment

I do think fans underestimate the extent to which we have missed Zinchenko. How much spark he gave us. He remains one of our top three players on goal probability added, which means he is the guy creating chances with the way he progresses the ball up the field. It’s basically Martinelli, Saka and then him. And a large part of Martinelli’s creativity early on this season was supported by him.

It's not about underestimating. He's always been injury-prone, unless we expected that to suddenly change then we can't accept that missing him has such a huge effect on our performance.

If we going to lose this is the best match to lose in.

We got the two easiest home games of the season coming up so I expect a reaction which is important going into the Chelsea game.

Chelsea have effectively won their group so they can rest players ahead of our game annoyingly.

I wasn't able to watch this one. I just saw the match stats and we had all the possession and created double the chances they did.

What the fuck happened?

Arteta still unable to get his team out of a rut quickly. And forget the concept of coming back from a losing position under this manager.

Lol at rut. Teams go through spells of form, good and bad. We are not Man City and expected to win every game.

Arteta has got the team out of many runs in the past. See after Everton away last year and also after we lost 3 in row we go and beat Chelsea away which no one expected.

Everyone gets out of a bad run eventually, so you're just saying that we've been on many.

I thought Sambi was better today. No Party but seemed like he made a consorted effort to be a little braver on the ball.

Wish I could say the same for Tierney who seems to not trust anyone in tight spaces.

Holding is a pretty poor defender unfortunately. It's his error for the first goal and he really struggles to progress play. I also think Saliba looks noticeably more vulnerable next to him - something Gabriel's doubters should take note of.

Tomi has been pretty uninspiring on the ball too in recent weeks. Thought maybe it was because he'd been playing on the left but he was equally cautious tonight.

Since Utd loss we’ve drawn one league game. I don’t see that as a rut. Yes performances not great but we still got wins. We are top of our EL and the Prem come late October #context

PSV always always going to be a tricky game. Chelsea lost to Dynamo Zagreb away who are a shitter team.

There is no need to press the panic button just yet.

been saying I think some dropped points are priced in for us before the WC break, based on a wide variety of factors (squad depth, lack of cutting edge, us outperforming in terms of points thus far). a little bit of mean reversion isn't anything to panic about though, we still look like a good bet for a minimum 4th place finish, which is the main target.

i still don't understand this criticism. we literally got rid of three forwards in two transfer windows. had to go out and find a starting striker. get in a new AM and LB. reintegrate our starting CB. haven't even covered the bench. we've had the highest turnover amongst the top 7. Edu's had a big workload. it would've been great to have Mudryk and Danilo on board, but it's unrealistic.
