We would still need a point away to PSV to guarantee topping the group. Then we can rest everyone v Zurich ahead of Chelsea away.

PSV look very good this season, will be our hardest home game after Liverpool imo.

Not facing a last 32 tie in Feb is huge for our second half of the season esp when we could be drawn against 3rd place CL sides. Do you really want to play Inter over two legs in between crucial Prem ties?

Anyway, Leeds had a full week to prepare unlike Southampton who have a derby away tonight.

They are top of the Dutch league and look like they score goals for fun. That Gapko guy they have looks like he could be a proper menace.

Will be a tough challenge this, need to win and essentially wrap up qualification so we can focus more on the league.

Southampton playing today as well so like someone pointed out in the other thread they won't have the physical advantage over us like Leeds did.

Again, I'm in the minority here who literally does not care at all about the EL. Play the guys who don't get to many minutes in the league and the academy players, I would not be upset if we go out in the group stages, I just don't care. I consider it an abomination.
