So glad to have proper football back again (albeit temporarily). Feels like it's been months.

I'd be very happy with the kind of positive performance we've been turning out, free of meltdowns, shithouse refereeing, bullshit loaded VAR decisions or decisive blunders.

We're the better side so we'll likely take three points if those things happen.

This is going to be a tough, arduous day for Spurs. I too like Gazza M feel theres a two-goal winning margin victory possibly in store but never know with derbies. Arteta seemed very switched on against Brentford. Beside have the team tactically ready, I expect him to get the players motivated at the right level after lay-off.

If we can't be confident about this game, with our formidable home record against this lot, I don't know what we can be confident about. Even allowing for the fact that Spurs have become Shithouse FC.

Sure hope it's some reverse jinx Spurs are fucking dogshit. Only thing beating us tomorrow is the ref which of course is a massive possibility.

Will miss this game as I'll be in the Waldstadion tomorrow, first home game since covid. Still trying to get tickets for the game vs Spurs next Tuesday, little would give me more joy than two trashings in four days for these dickheads

I think we'll win, we're the better team for sure. But you can't ever rule out the impact of the likes of Son and Kane.

In a weird way as well, as we've gotten better at retaining the ball we're ironically more vulnerable to their shithouse tactics.

All that being said, if we can be clinical either end we have nothing to worry about.

Nah. Cos I watch a lot of Spurs games. They play some of the worst football I've seen. And then hit counters with incredibly high conversion by Son.

Spurs got what, 10 points out of a possible 12 from Liverpool and City last season? They have a unique ability to do the bare minimum to get wins.

Even Chelsea this season is a great example. Comprehensively outplayed in a very one sided game and they somehow came out with a draw.

We absolutely rolled them at home last season, it was a delight. Didn't do the bare minimum that time.

Spurs will absolutely get yet another Kane penalty gifted to them by the ref as usual, whoever it is as I haven't even checked. Question is, are we ahead by that point, or does it leave us chasing them? If it's the latter then we'd be prime pickings on the counter.

Can't worry about this though, just have to go out there and give Spurs the shoeing they so richly deserve.

Completely disagree, we have to play our own game and that means doing exactly that, play a high line and be aggressive. If we get caught so be it, but I'd much rather lose that way than be intentionally shit. They still have the better finishers so I don't think it would improve our chances one bit.

Yeah, we need to play our game but obviously need to be smarter about it than against United. It's key to cut out the supply to Kane and Son, and the way we have played this season, particularly against Brentford, makes me think we can do it. Dominate the ball, play at high tempo and put them under pressure from kick off.
