Joined AM 16 years ago!

My last PM is from Ricky pleading that I join this place because the success of the whole project depended upon my moving.

Before that it was a series of exchanges with Mr Nuts who didn't like how I was tracking stats because I gave Arshavin an assist for winning a penalty just because apparently he's my favourite player.

I can't even remember when I joined AM, think Arsenal had an official forum which closed and a few of us joined from there. Man my memory gets a bit foggy when I try to think back!

Wait, does that still exist Qwiss? Used to go there for a lot of my Arsenal stuff back in the early 2000s. They were great with the historical stuff especially.

That's right, I think I remember being really pleased to "see" you when we both arrived on AM!

Just managed to login to AM for the first time in years. October 22, 2003! Coming up to the 19 year anniversary. It was a good friend of mine at school (still friends although he's in Canada now, last saw him when he was back visiting his parents last Xmas which was the first time in about 4-5 years) who got me onto it as he was part of the secret section at the time, exchanging videos of all Arsenal goals with others in the days before Youtube. Think his username was G-F and he may have even been an admin in the early days. My last PM was from Kami in 2010 giving me the link to move over here.

Didn't log on but had a quick look, October 22, 2003 for me as well! I don't know if I'm mistaking this for another forum but didn't a lot of us have to sign up again? Seem to remember a new forum being set up.

Had a skim through the matchday archive, brings back memories man! Seeing some posters that I had completely forgotten about!

Ah yeah I forgot about that, I think the forum got wiped and we had to start again so anyone who was there before that will have that same date. Must be over 20 years for me then!

Did he have a longer name? I think I remember a Gael-Force but that username probably doesn’t tie in with pre Oct 2003. Or did Gael Force change his name from a previous one maybe?

Nah he wasn't Gael-Force. Might have been Gunners-Forever or something like that which he then shortened to G-F.
Also see in my PMs there was some messages with you trying to arrange meeting up when I was in the UK in 2009, either in Glasgow or at the Emirates Cup. From memory I think the timing didn't quite work out. Hopefully make it back one day for an OMITT meetup.
