LOL. I didn’t take a break from Arsenal. Just this place. To be honest, a year or so ago when I stopped posting, I felt quite bullish about the club’s prospects, and was surprised at how pessimistic this place was in general. So took a break.

I expect things should be more cheerful around here now in line with our trajectory over that time

I was INCREDIBLY surprised by some of the attitudes on here when I returned in the spring, but it does feel now as though the sun is peeping round the corner. Not sure it's my place to say welcome back, given how long I've been away, but it's good to see you, and some familiar names, returning.

100% Capi. We also need to build relationships across the first team given that Saliba, Jesus and Zinchenko are brand new.
These 3 players coming in have really raised the overall technical level of the squad. They make us much more dynamic and dangerous.

ofty is a good sport. Opinions go straight in the bin as most of the time he's pure waffle but he doesn't take himself serious which is a good trait to have as an Arsenal fan

Have to reject the claim I tried to get him to crack though. No point in trying to do it because by his own volition he wanted Arteta gone at least twice from memory

This Fulham side would look more secure for the PL if they held on to Anguissa. It should be a lovely day out at the Emirates and expect us to dictate the match. Ramsdale will need to be on point with his area.

So is the idea to sit on Mitrovic and/or cut his supply, or should we essentially do our own stuff and treat Fulham as we would any other lower - mid table visitor?
I'm leaning towards the latter rather than the former = it's their problem to try to stop us, not the other way around.
