That's a good shout actually. He has the same running style - slightly hunched and an obviously low cente of gravity. Definitely got that same motorbike Zidane joked about Reyes having.

I think we absolutely need another winger – Arteta asks for a ton of drive and penetration from that position, and Vieira seems like he'd play in Ødegaard's position generally. Saka, Martinelli, Neto, and probably ESR out wide looks a lot more solid.

Also loving that Arteta clearly knows exactly the profile of player he's looking for.

Hate that we have to deal with Mendes but unfortunately just the way it is. I think he has such an influence at Wolves that he could probably force their hand in making this happen.

Between £40m-£45m and this is a very good deal imo. Guy can play left and right and will be pushing our current wide players for their spots.

The number of games he has played over the last two seasons is a real concern. But that's probably why he's attainable given his skillset and potential.

I felt that way as well dules, and his numbers speak to those doubts. I have been wondering if they think neto has untapped potential if he plays in a system more conducive to his strengths, with other attacking players on his wavelength. he looks like a player that might have a few more levels in him. he could be a stat sheet stuffer, under the right circumstances

Potentially. Certainly will give 100% effort.

Not convinced by his agility and dribbling either. Runs a bit blind in to corridors and can’t always manipulate his way out.

Arteta may also have been referring to Tielemans concerning adding more goals. Certainly has a good strike rate for a midfielder.

It would be harsh to judge him as the finish product, after such a long layoff and only turning 22 a few months ago. Prior to his injury he was up there with the top young side players in the league.

I think the next few years he will really mature and explode as a player, as we are seeing with Martinelli & Saka.
