We have been sooo good
Imagine how good our attack will be when Saka and Ode hit top form
That was a glorious 20 mins. Shame we didn't get the third.
The thing that stands out to me now is that the players in the team that lack composure and intelligence on the ball now stand out, whereas not that long ago the few in the team that had some composure stood out a mile.

Ode is showing his limitations even today.
Excellent half. Hopefully with Jesus leading from the front we keep up the intensity and get the third.

Soft penalty
But Ramsdale doesn’t need to go there
I think he did well. Avoided getting sucked in.
He did well to avoid contact, but I don’t think he has to challenge that. We had a defender goal side and that was a tight angle. The likelihood of anyone scoring there is so low, far riskier to come out towards contact.
Ode/Saka need to find another level. They’re both looking 2nd grade in physicality, and not doing enough (these days) on the ball to make up for it.
Shades of Wenger Post Emirates side. Pass and move.
This year is going to be a good year. Jesus changes everything
We've been as crisp, brisk and domineering as I can recall. Leicester are looking around like they're playing against ninjas. Zinchenko, Martinelli, Jesus and, yes, a couple of times even Xhaka up that left side ...

He's having a slow start to the season but I think he's going to develop into one of the very best players in the league
In spells we look like a title challenging team.
Way to go to get to that level though.
Tieleman’s is crud. Deffo don’t want
I understand Pep when he says Jesus is the best pressing forward in the world.
Have a strong feeling he is going to get his Hattrick today
Zinchenko is so tidy and clever.

Not trying to bitch, it's been a good team performance, but we have to note that the goals/chances have been all basically because Jesus. And one a set piece. They all count of course, but we still aren't creating good clear chances or playing pretty football. Dominant though for sure.
It's a good day when our worst performances today are from saka and ode. They're ok. Everyone else seems to be clicking
It's fine. Saka and Ode just need to adjust to the new dynamic of the team.. there used to the ball being fed into them every game... Now they will need to show more / adjust thier movement to get more of the ball

Lacks X factor where it counts. Doesn't see the through ball/dink or just hesitates too much. Weights passes poorly at times too.

Maybe fractionally sluggish but also the asymmetry of our approach isn't favouring them today ... Saka's the permanent out ball on other days.

performance has good and bad elements. our shape is weird at times, and the defense looks vulnerable whenever the oppo manages to get the ball into our half. some of the interplay has been good, and obviously jesus is the main bright spot, with zinchenko and martinelli also playing well.
