Tactical or otherwise, we played down the left very heavily which obviously didn't favour either of them.
It was somewhat against type, too, as we've switched play to the right so much over the past season, albeit less against weaker sides.
Just think about how people thought Martinelli lacked fluency and poise over a lot of the back half of last season while Saka was the obvious linchpin.
If we're going to structure our play like this, Saka and Øde will just have to be figuring out the positions to take up and how to get involved a little differently, Øde running and offering more aggressively through central positions for example, and getting away from his tendency to drift right.
