Segway worst sides has won it do yeah. Depends a little on the luck of draw too. But Europe is a huge question mark given Arteta really hasn't grasped it yet. Took Wenger many years to find an efficient formula there too

Segway we're 6th favourites so its definitely a possibility.

Clrnc don't think Arteta has really taken the Europa seriously. It'll be interesting to see how he balances focussing on more than just the league.

Would love a good CL run, at least into the semis. Nothing would be worse than losing to a Monaco in the last 16, except maybe a group stage exit…

I think we’re set to go up a level.

Need Saliba to remain fit though.

Can see our youngsters improving further.

League-wise, qualifying for the CL again is obviously a minimum but I'd be disappointed if we didn't look like challengers for the actual league, atleast for some of the season.

CL - Deep run would be nice but who's to say what we'll do or how we'll look since it's been so long. Not getting KO'd by a team we really shouldn't would be nice.

Carabo cup whatever the f it's called meh, FA Cup we should surely be one of the favourites for but depends how it's going in the league and CL.

And overall I hope we continue to play and improve further upon the football we showed last season. So good to look forward to watching us play again.

Question, are we willing to sacrifice a trophy (namely FA Cup) if it meant we challenged for the league and got far in CL?

Or would you rather take FA Cup, finish 3rd and say finish last 8 of CL?

Sicario2 - Tier 1 definitely the latter.

Challenging for the league is nothing if we don't win it. Fuck putting the pressure on give me fa Cup any day of the week

Winning the PL/CL > Winning the FA Cup > Serious challenge for the PL > Finishing Top 3/4 > Deep run into the CL > Winning the League Cup.

Fairly confident we'll do well in the league again next season, Arteta's shown a consistent trend of improvement in our position. The biggest red flag is the fact that we've faded away in the final months for 2 seasons in a row.

However, I'm not expecting much in the CL - Arteta's not been the best in the Europa league, we've got a relatively inexperienced team and the knockout rounds as a lottery. If we get to the quarter finals I would consider it a successful campaign.

Mirth I'd be targetting the quarter finals too, although it depends on who we draw. If we get a tough draw before that then it is what it is. In the same sense if we get an easier quarter final then maybe you expect more.

I don't think next season we should be picking trophies. This team needs to start winning things (whatever that may be) to get that feeling and rhythm) otherwise promise can particularly evaporate.

I think we have to get out if the group in the CL and depending on who we get in the KOs further as well.

We have to be in the top 4 and I think I would want us to show that the league run wasn't a flash in the pan so demonstrate some consistency. We also have to have a go at the domestic cups as well.

I think next season we cross from plucky to we need to start delivering things and that will be the challenge for the team. How do you deal with that change in status/expectation.

My expectations for the CL would be to beat everyone except for City, Real and maybe Bayern or Barca. So you'd be hopeful of reaching the SF at a minimum.

Pepe LeFrits the way we failed so badly time and time again in the Europa put this logic to bed even though on paper it should really be the case now with the squad we have
