He is a natural CB. If we sign him, its like signing the Tomiyasu of LBs. He has played more at CM than fullbacks too.

How much money do we have ? I cannot relax, I don't trust Edu. We needed a CM last year as well, and got a CB for 50 mil. Orny already said today that a CM might depend on Xhaka leaving...don't underestimate how stupid Edu can be

Last year was still very much about weeding out the crud and setting up a core. We’re now at the stage where we’ll plug gaps and upgrade adding the quality we need.

Martinez is very, very good. Hilariously short for a CB, though. Arteta trying to remake Even Dwarfs Started Small at London Colney.

I think he'd be a brilliant Xhaka replacement, though. Can play DM and LB, has a magic left foot, and just plays football so naturally. Good signing, but this has to be in addition to Tielemans and Vieira.

Funny thing is I don't even mind the players we're signing, whenever I've watched Lisandro and Vieira they looked class. Never wanted them here though because other than the major one on the touchline our holes to plug are elsewhere
