i rank them on par. Arseblog is probably the show of any medium that i have followed the longest. longer than any TV show, radio show, etc. i used to listen to half a dozen generic football podcasts along with Arseblog when i first discovered it - The Game, Football Weekly, ESPN, Football Ramble, World Football Daily etc. All of them are long since forgotten or dead.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert I remember using Arseweb for my Arsenal news, I can remember reading about us singing some highly rated 15 year old called Cesc Fabregas on it. Then Arseblog came along and he updated every single morning really early so it was great to get into work and have a coffee and read the Arsenal news before tackling work.

Myles Palmer was a bit of a joke back in the day because he slated the signing of Henry. Then clung onto it for too long even when he was obviously wrong. By the time he accepted reality he'd made himself a meme.

There was a period in the 90s I'd read Arseweb using the old "lynx" command line web browser.

Burnwinter I remember the glory days of waiting 5 minutes for Arseweb to load half a page when my university finally the internet available to us all halfway into my first year - the first year of Dennis Bergkamp!

Same. Ceefax 302, Arseweb, Soccernet and Planetfootball were my go tos back then.

I only really listen to Arseblog now if he's got a good guest on. Will always stop in for Amy Lawrence for example. Used to listen to the Extra quite a lot, but binned it off when McNicholas took his baby to a game, the dolt.

ArsenalVision all the way. And having been part of a vaguely unsuccessfully podcast myself for 7 years, it's great to hear guys like Clive and Tim who can articulate their ideas really well. I think Tim is a better podcaster than he is a writer actually.

RocktheCasbah I find Tim Stillman to be the most annoying Arsenal podcaster there is. I cannot listen to the guy. If he's on Arseblog I just skip the episode.

RocktheCasbah Yep! Rioch was manager when I started reading Arseweb daily in ASCII. An excellent period in which, all unaware, I was just at the beginning of what would be a beautiful trajectory for many years.

I don't think I could have gone to Leeds and abandoned my TRS membership in a worse year of Arsenal history if I tried!

(Well 97/98 maybe)

Point being, by the time I came home in 2002 it was impossible to get tickets for Arsenal games of any consequence.
