I'm excluding the unrealistic strikers.

Who would be your pick for the summer?

I think we should go for Richarlison, guy has his better years ahead. Pay Everton £50M and deal done.

Not a great list to choose from but Jesus has to be the surest bet and for a semi reasonable price.

None on that list are top tier imo. Out of those Osimhen looks the most exciting but there is something about Isak. Honestly think if he played under Wenger he'd make him the top striker in world football. He's clearly come off an average season but I think there is massive talent there.

Wistlist would be Nkunku as a false 9. Makes total tactical sense, and his attitude is fantastic. Jesus or another could come in to provide options.

Looking at both the strikers, and the CM positions, we definitely have a bit of work to do. Plus there is talk of full backs and wingers……woah

Osimhen for me as he offers the ability to score in the air as well as on the ground, plus he can rum at defenders with the ball at feet. Lautaro would be high on my list for much the same reasons, and least of all that we reportedly made an offer for him last summer.
My biggest question marks about Lautaro, Jesus and David being they mainly play with a strike partner and are not really experienced as needing to lead the line on their own, whilst Jesus starts more games from the flank than as CF. That said all of them show the defensive work rate off the ball Arteta wants.
IMO Isak is not yet proven to be consistent enough for what we need next season, and I'd even have Simeone, Tammy A and DCL ahead of him for the money wanted by his club.

Don't agree at all. Very clean striking technique with little backlift and good power. He's super intelligent, great vision, technically excellent, fast, great dribbler, tall, presses well, and can play back to goal or on the shoulder.

Just needs to get a higher volume of shots, but the kinds of goals he's scored are highly varied - he's capable of anything and everything.

I'd be happy with Osimhen but he's got injury problems and relies heavily on his physicality. Not a great combo. Isak is the one for me.

Have to agree. Isak could be a dream striker in the making. Has a touch of Henry about him the way he glides across the pitch at that speed with such a tall frame. Not sure we'd be able to get the best out of him considering our stylr of play but he has everything you could want to work with for a forward.

I've soured on Isak.

Actually think Gakpo is the player to get if we want youth. He looks incredibly balanced with an ability to create for himself and others, and he's physically set for a CF role. Will take some nurturing to cox him into the middle, and there may be growing pains/overlap between him and Martinelli.

But in a more fluid front three, you could see Martinelli and Gakpo switching between CF and LW. He seems ready to contribute goals in the premier league, and there's plenty of upside left.
