Why are you so surprised at those performances and linking it to me tality rather than "confidence" when it was pretty much the first time we'd been out of the CL for God knows how long?
You don't think it's reasonable to assume that those performances were so poor because confidence was down during that period following being the first set of players that failed to get us CL since beforeAW joined?
