I hope the players realize the sheer magnitude of this game. Our fate is still in our hands, but if we do not get a win here, it will no longer be. 4th place (I know we all make fun of the 4th place trophy) is beyond important for the club. We NEED to get into the CL if we have any hope of signing bigger players, thus pushing the team forward. We need to be disciplined and ruthless. Eddie needs to have a big game, as does, well, everyone who is fit to play.

We are playing the 14th placed team in the league, they've nothing to play for. We should absolutely be beating them when there is so much on the line for the club and for the players. They're young players, they should be absolutely determined to get to the CL and prove themselves on the biggest stage.

Some people online were saying that since Saliba is suspended for Marseille's final game we could've recalled him if Marseille agreed to it and play him since he's u21. 😆

Not that it'll happen, but is it true that we could've done it in theory?

Players probably think - if I play crap we won’t get champs league and they won’t sign a superstar to replace me this summer!

I am not sure if you can play in a different league while being suspended in your first league under UEFA rules.. Though I like the underhanded idea. lol

If White is out we could potentially end up playing our two backup fullbacks, two non-centre backs at centre back, our two starting centre mids missing from centre mid, and Nketiah up front. It's grim.

Our record against Newcastle is great and they have nothing to play for except that it's their final home game of the season, but I'm struggling for confidence. One or two players are going to need to have their game of the season.

I don't want to be hard on the team if the result goes against us, and I don't want to get worked up, I went through all that against Spurs. I just ask that we don't self-destruct or get screwed over by the ref.

Feeling mildly better about that defence. I hope they are actually fit and able.

Pretty much first choice team given the players available. Tavares in for Cedric makes me nervous, but then again so does Cedric.

Just hope White and Gabriel are fit enough to actually last the full game. Otherwise we could be screwed

This is a big moment for the team and the manager. These are the kind of things that we will experience if we start competing again pressure and how you handle those moments. Especially when it's in your hands getting the job done important. All you ever want is to have that for big games.
