We need Pepe , Martinelli , Saka , Eddie and Esr on the pitch in the second half. I'd pull Odegaard and Elneny , drop ESR into Midfield and go for it.

We are making it look like they have the far superior players. Which isn't true. They are just the better team. To be very fair, Howe has done a great job at Newcastle since he took over. They were in doldrums.

CL football on the line, we play a team with nothing to play for, and they completely dominate us for 45 minutes. We can talk about how shit the likes of ESR or Ødegaard were, how our midfield was invisible, how nervy Ramsdale started the game or how White and Tomiyasu were torn to pieces, but at the end of the day, pretty much everyone's been shit. In the most important game of our season. Fucking depressing, this was one of the worst halves we played this year and that's quite an accomplishment.

Only positive is that it's still 0-0, and it's still just fucking Newcastle. We don't need any bloody miracles, just a professional second half performance against inferior players. Please just for once, can we not collapse in a spectacular fashion and just fucking beat a worse team? How is that so fucking hard?
