problem is the midfield isn't capable of finding him between the lines. he ends up dropping into a phony 8.5 position where he's looked ineffectual every time

We pretty much fucked our top 4 chances last two games but this is an unreal chance that has been presented to us out of absolutely nowhere. We HAVE to capitalise.
Reading pretty much every post on here in the last fortnight has felt like getting shanked. This is a chance at relief. Just ask that the boys bring some fire. This is the kind of lineup I was expecting the other week.
Would've bet good money we'd limp to a goalless draw or loss had Spurs won earlier. If we still fuck this up after this lifeline was handed to us Arteta should be sacked on the spot, not even because I hate his guts and he's useless as a coach but because a new guy might actually give us the bounce we need to get over the line
